Breakfast in bed, pink roses, a foot massage, time to snuggle under the covers with my two little monkeys watching classic Mickey Mouse, extra hugs & kisses all day long … what more could a girl ask for on Mother’s Day?
As fantastic as my Mother’s Day was yesterday, the best present I have ever been given as a mother is the gift of time with my boys. Time to watch their first steps, to push a swing at the playground, to share a popsicle in the middle of the day, to break up fights and wipe away tears. I have loved every moment of time being home with my boys, even the challenging ones. I feel so blessed that I have witnessed (& captured with my camera, of course) all of the moments that make up my boys’ lives and I will be forever grateful to my husband for giving me this gift. I look forward to all the moments to come & to more time to keep trying to be a better mommy to them as each day passes.
