In honor of World Water Day, please take a few minutes to watch these videos, illustrating the need for clean water in Haiti and Ethiopia, like many other places around the world.  If you feel moved to do something about it, consider starting here or here.

like a painting…

During our annual trip to visit friends in N.C. this summer, I had the chance to photograph Molly & Delaney for the second year in a row.  They are so precious and hold a special place in my heart since their mommy, Michelle, is a close friend from college.  I love to be able to...

grounded in gratitude

Breakfast in bed, pink roses, a foot massage, time to snuggle under the covers with my two little monkeys watching classic Mickey Mouse, extra hugs & kisses all day long … what more could a girl ask for on Mother’s Day?
As fantastic as my Mother’s Day was yesterday, the best present I...

we measure the fun in our days by the dirt on our feet…

This is one of my favorite images from last year, taken in one of my favorite places to be … our backyard. Where little feet can be found running barefoot through the grass, splashing through the sprinkler, chasing lightening bugs, and digging in the dirt.
… of course that means that once the warm weather...
