This is one of my favorite images from last year, taken in one of my favorite places to be … our backyard. Where little feet can be found running barefoot through the grass, splashing through the sprinkler, chasing lightening bugs, and digging in the dirt.
… of course that means that once the warm weather is here, you can also measure the fun in our days by the dirt on my floors. I keep this image hung on the wall next to the door leading to our backyard, to remind me that days filled with laughter are more important than a perfect house. After all, little boys are supposed to get dirty and mine are pretty good at it.
The shirt says it all. And yes, I know his crocs are on the wrong feet but try telling him that!
